Today, I decided to come in late since I have a late night call and would be in office late. I knew it was risky and I paid the price. There's no more parking!

The guards didn't even want me to go in the building anymore! So how do I "get to work"? Well... I went to my nearest starbucks and got a 5hr internet access card.... and started to take to work from the comforts of my local starbucks.

Interesting to ponder how things have changed. From dedicated office spaces with doors, to open workspaces, to hotelling... they basically are removing the office building for those working! And you virtually connected through your company VPN and wade through tons of emails, get pinged left and right from your IM while you sip you sip your latte.

Well back to work...

hay... I go through that same ordeal often since I've started working for a global role. Parking system in Petron really sucks!!! I don't know how P&G intends to work on it. I think that the WPS guys aren't leveraging on the fact that we have 7 floors in the building!!! grrr!!! I hope they work on this really soon!

joysi - I agree. You'd think 7 floors is such a leverage. But I also think it is a self-inflicted wound with "cost reduction" P&G asked not take better parking options from Petron. Now, the sh*t hits the fan and you'd hardly here this topic being openly brought up by site services, workplace services, HR or JLL. But given the options on working remotely, things are still workable at least in my case.

Bleau - same here! good to see you all kagabi :) Laki na ng pinayat mo a! Congrats. Gaya nga ng sabi nyo i've been going the other direction. hehe. Working to reverse it soon though. Damn american serving sizes! Hehe. Loved working at starbucks nga. Work related naman yung blog ko. hehe. Doing these as my "break" from work. Overall everything is good. :)
